I’m obviously a little bit behind on blogging. Oh well. I usually go in phases :) A couple weeks ago, my parents came into town for General Conference. They flew in Friday morning and we visited my sister Camille’s school so they could see her classroom. Bennett liked playing in the “lion’s learning lair”, and willingly showed his muscles for the picture:
That night, we were planning to go up American Fork canyon to have tin foil dinners. We made it up there later than planned, and the good news was the tin foil dinners were delicious, the bad was that it was pitch dark (and cold!) by about halfway through the dinners cooking, and we had to eat them by the light of our cell phones (we did at least bring a flashlight, but the batteries died suddenly before the food was finished.
Saturday was mostly spent watching conference and hanging out. The men went up to Salt Lake for the Priesthood session while the rest of us went shopping. We had yummy banana splits afterwards.
Sunday morning, we all headed up to the Conference Center and were able to be there in person. It was a great session of conference. Mom and dad had to leave shortly after the afternoon session – it seemed like a quick trip but it was so fun to have them here! A couple pictures – of us all at the conference center, and Bennett playing with his grandma (he was too busy playing to look at the camera).
