Blessing Day & Fathers’ Day

Last Sunday, Nate was able to bless Ryan in our Sacrament Meeting. It was a great blessing and we were grateful to have both of our parents, Nate’s grandparents, and several siblings and in-laws there for the blessing. Ryan was perfectly quiet during the blessing, and fortunately kept his loud screams for  later. After the meeting, we had salty & sweet crepes at our house with our families, and they were delicious! (I can say that because I didn’t put them together – just decided what toppings to have available for people to choose from). We of course took a few pictures – I was hoping we could take them outside but the rain nixed that idea. I should have had Nate hold Ryan up in the family one so we could actually see him :) Ryan had a major blowout before I could get any individual pictures of him in his blessing outfit, so I had to do some a few days later.

We were glad we got to spend some time on Father’s day with both of our dads – they are both so supportive and such great examples, and are wonderful grandpas. And of course, Bennett and Ryan are pretty lucky to have a great dad too!

We went on a walk that night once the rain finally stopped, and the snails were out – we saw a little one at one point, then saw this bigger one right before we got home.

My parents were able to stay with us for a couple days after, and we didn’t do anything too exciting but it was fun to spend time with them. Here are a couple pictures from my sister’s bridal shower.

That picture of Bennett and the snail is one of the best "Boy" pictures I've ever seen. It needs to go right by the poem of boys are made of something, something, snails and puppy dog tails. So cute!!!
