Camille & Bryce’s Wedding

We were excited to be in Oregon to celebrate my sister Camille’s wedding. She and Bryce were married in the Medford Oregon LDS temple. The Medford temple isn’t open Friday mornings, but they will open it if you want to get married on a Friday, so it was neat to be in the temple with just our family and friends – and neat to have our whole family in the temple together. Here are some pictures from the temple and some of Camille & Bryce taken at Lithia Park:

and some of the spectators at the temple:

Bennett loved riding on Bryce’s sister Kate’s wheelchair – both in the seat and, as you’ll see later, standing and holding onto the back. And the handsome bride’s brother-in-law.

Three men and their three babies – my brother Jake holding Ethan, Bro-in-law Shane holding James, and Nate holding Ryan. And Bryce’s siblings laughing at the photo session

That afternoon, we went to Lithia park for a yummy luncheon with croissant sandwiches, salads, personal-sized Martinelli’s Sparkling Cider, and rainbow sherbet (my arm got a good workout the day before scooping all the sherbet into little bowls).

Bennett riding along with his new BFF Kate (she was so nice to him and took him on a riding tour of our little area of the park), and my nephew Ethan enjoying his balloon and some sparkling cider.

That night, they had their reception at the Swedenburg House, which is where Nate and I had ours too. It’s a beautiful historic building on the main street in Ashland and looked great with all the red, orange, and yellow decorations and flowers. The kids were all surprisingly well-behaved and the food was delicious! It was a great end to a fun day of celebrating.

The next day, Cam & Bryce came over to open presents before heading off to Utah, then Cancun. The boys (men I guess) participated in a golf tournament in the morning (Dave the organizer was the winner) and late that night we had a doubles tennis tournament (Jake & Stacey were the victors of that one – we came in 2nd). At one point during the day, my mom and I were watching all the grandkids (can’t remember why) and turned on Cinderella for them. They all (except Ryan) lined up on the couch to watch – it was pretty cute :)

Sorry about the marathon post – I figured I’d get it all out at once! It was a fun celebration and we are so happy for Camille & Bryce!
