After packing up our stuff for our move to Seattle (for the summer), we spent a week in Oregon with my family. The timing worked out great – we were able to leave the kids with my parents for a little 5-year-anniversary celebration, got to see most of my siblings (we missed you Camille & Bryce!) and got to see our newest niece, little Maggie, in the hospital just a few hours after she was born. We enjoyed some time just hanging out, Bennett loved going to Grandma’s preschool, we celebrated Jake’s birthday, played tennis, and had a hot dog roast in Lithia Park.

No pics, but Bennett went to preschool with his grandma, while Nate, Ryan & I joined Stacey & Ethan at the Ashland Tuesday market, a quick trip to show Nate Emigrant Lake, and to see Jake at work.

Baby Maggie was born! Nate and I went to see her at the hospital, then left the kids with my parents and went out to dinner, and stayed up at a lodge in the mountains.

Happy 5-year Anniversary!! We enjoyed having a mostly kid-free day, and went to walk around Lithia Park and drove through some of the hills before having a late lunch and heading back. The rest of the siblings arrived that night. (pics of us on our balcony at Callahan’s and in Lithia Park)

Jake’s birthday! The boys helped him celebrate by getting drenched golfing in the rain in the morning, then we had a yummy tri-tip dinner with razzleberry pie and a yummy peanut butter cup cake Stacey & her mom had made him.

The boys went and played racquetball in the late morning, and Bennett “helped” grandpa mow the lawn on his new riding mower. We all enjoyed some pre-dinner tennis, then went to our traditional spot in Lithia Park for a yummy hot dog roast and a game of bocce ball (Nate & I won!)
May 27
We enjoyed a yummy lasagna dinner and time playing with cousins.

The men, sans Nate, embarked on a bike ride up Greensprings. Nate didn’t wimp out – we just were getting ready for our trek to Seattle that day. We were sad to leave after such a fun week!
