We had a wonderful week in Utah after the wedding filled in BBQs, cousin time, sleepovers at Heidi & Cory’s, visiting the Payson Temple open house, stopping to see Jake and Stacey on our way home, a trip to the zoo with cousins, playing in Grandma and Grandpa’s backyard with the dog Zoe, a short trip with Jake up to see my Grandma Landon and Aunt Susan, and miniature golf with cousins, and a shopping / movie late night date night. It was great to catch up with everyone and spend time together. The kids had a blast with their Grandma, Grandpa, and cousins.
Ryan had jet lag the worst of all of us – he was awake for a couple of hours every night the first few nights, and just couldn’t make it through the day.
Celebrating Mother’s Day with Nate’s mom and a visit to each of his grandparents.
Payson Temple Open House. The temple was beautiful, inside and out. It was neat to be there with all of the family (minus Spencer & Kristin, who were on their honeymoon)
Since we were down in Utah County already and weren’t sure if we would see Jake and Stacey in Oregon, we stopped by their house after the Payson Temple for a yummy BBQ and some baseball at Kiwanis Park. And of course, stopped for a JCW’s oreo shake on the way home. We had a long list of food to eat while we were “home”
Trip to the zoo with Carson and Thomas. The kids loved seeing the animals, but even more, loved playing with Carson and Thomas.
I talked Jake into road-tripping with me up to Idaho Falls for the day to visit our Grandma Landon. So glad we were able to go. I loved seeing my Grandma and Aunt Susan, and love that my kids got to spend time with them too. So many memories in her beautiful backyard! My favorite moment of the day was when Ryan was bringing dead dandelions to grandma and they would blow the seeds together and just got laughing so hard! It was fun to spend time talking with Jake too and catching up.
Chaos at the mini golf course, throwing the ball to Zoe, watching Mouse (the cat) through the window, and Ryan helping Eliza
