Tugboat Story Time

July 12

We ventured back to tugboat story time a couple weeks ago. This time, the plastic covering was off the boat and the kids seemed to enjoy it a lot more. It may have been that they got to sit on these cool rope-tie-things (yes, that is the technical name for it). We took a tour of the tugboat afterwards and learned all about it, then went to the nearby playground for a few minutes. Unfortunately, the ~1.7 mile walk home wasn’t ideal…the distance wasn’t bad, but it had gotten pretty warm and I missed a turnoff, so I ended up hiking up some stairs (it felt like several hundred, but was probably 3+ stories worth) carrying my diaper bag, camera bag, Ryan, and the folded up stroller. Fortunately, Bennett walked. We then had to make it up a couple more steep hills to our apartment. Love those Seattle hills!
